What is a CSA

CSA Program
(Consumer Sustainable Agriculture)
What is a CSA?

A CSA is a program in which you purchase a share in the Farmer’s produce for a season. You pay a lump sum payment at the beginning of the season and then each week you receive a supply of fresh seasonal vegetables to be picked up at a convenient site.

What are the benefits?

You receive first choice of the weeks supply of fresh vegetables. No more worrying about getting to the market late only to find everything sold out or picked over.

You know up front what your cost is , so you can budget for it.

You can not only enjoy your favorite vegetables but also some new items that you might not have tried before.

You know that the produce your feed your family is the freshest, high quality product available , locally grown and pesticide free.

You also help support the farmer because he knows how much to grow and has the startup funds to offset the cost of seed, plants, gas and other expenses.

What does it cost?
A full share is $500.00
